Athena Cleanse

Athena Cleanse is made from the ideal active ingredient to optimize the root zone, hypochlorous acid, obtained from salt and an electrochemical treatment process.
The result is a unique, plant-safe chemical with powerful oxidizing properties that helps keep your root zone healthy, free of unwanted organisms and deposits.  
These special properties improve both mineral and oxygen availability in growing media.

System Maintenance:
Irrigation systems that are regularly maintained with Athena Cleanse treatment last longer and consistently perform optimally.
This is because Cleanse helps to break down limescale deposits, mineral deposits and other organic matter that have accumulated in the system.
For regular maintenance, use a diluted mixture of 2 to 5 ml of water per gallon (1 gallon = 3.78 liters). Can be concentrated up to 10ml depending on conditions.
 

Cuttings/Clones:
Athena Cleanse is a must for all fresh cuttings.
Dip fresh cuttings in a solution of Cleanse (10 ml per gallon) to increase immunity.
Seedlings and cuttings treated with Cleanse have more vitality and are more likely to grow into robust plants.
The roots of plants treated with Cleanse are bright white and full of tiny root hairs.
 

RDWC and other recirculating hydroponic systems:
Any recirculating irrigation or deep water culture (DWC) system should use Athena Cleanse to increase the availability of oxygen and nutrients.
Irrigation water treated with Cleanse has less of developing problems often associated with excess water and insufficient oxygen, such as anaerobic microbial growth and biofilm formation.
Using Cleanse in a closed loop or DWC system helps break down materials with lower solubility values, such as mineral complexes, which are no longer available to plants. Mineral build-up and lock-out is a leading cause of deficiencies and plant health issues solve these problems with Athena Cleanse.

Media/System Flush:
Mix Athena Cleanse at a rate of 5-10 ml/gallon (1 gallon = 3.78 liters) during the final flush phase to reduce residual mineral build-up in growing media and plant tissues.
Reducing excess minerals during the last stage of life encourages the plant to produce more of the active ingredients, aromas and flavors associated with a quality final product.
This method can be used at any time during the veg or bloom stage when the growing medium or irrigation system develops a mineral imbalance or unwanted build-ups.

Foliar Application:
Mix 375 ml of Cleanse per gallon of water (1 gallon = 3.78 liters) and spray evenly. Test on a small area first to make sure your crop tolerates this input and there is no damage.
