Ferramol Anti-Slug (800 gr)

Ferramol organic anti-slug pellets are extremely attractive to large slugs and loaches which, after ingesting them, immediately stop feeding. They retire to a hiding place to die. Thus, we do not see traces of mucus or dead slugs which could attract conspecifics to feed on them.

The active ingredient is ferric III phosphate – a natural compound found throughout nature. Ferramol slug pellets are metaldehyde-free. It is safe for wild and domestic animals like hedgehogs, birds, dogs and cats.

If the slug infestation is serious, it is best to use Ferramol slug pellets immediately after sowing or planting. If the infestation is lighter then the granules can be used at the start of the attack or when the first damage to the crops is noted. The granules are distributed widely and evenly over the entire bed between the cultivated plants (application dose 5 g/m² = a slightly rounded teaspoon). If the slug flow is constant and the weather is rainy, it is recommended to spread pellets again after a week.

The effectiveness of Ferramol anti-slug granules is not affected by rain. Pellets swollen by humidity are even more attractive because their odor intensifies. The active substance is broken down in the soil by microorganisms into the plant nutrients iron and phosphate.
